  One of the most complete stories of tragedy I've ever seen. The depth of compassion on display for a kind of human often discredited and discarded is truly astounding. It is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking films I've ever seen, and I truly consider it in the Mount Rushmore of my personal films.

  This, like any good sports film, is less about 'sports' and more around the galvanizing force that sports create. This is ultimately a film about family, the toxicity of image-keeping, and what happens when goals are prioritized over things like mental health. I will say that I think I'm personally more into the story than the film, but given the film is the vehicle for the story, it's hard not to put this film in the category of great sports…
