  Incredibly beautiful expression of the Ozymandian cycle of civilization. And extremely well-animated too, given its budget. I know how challenging animating a cat can be, given the sheer amount of parts they use to express themselves, so huge props for that!

  An absolutely heartwrenching treat of a exploration of Korean identity vs American identity within the Korean-American immigrant experience. This is why I fall in love with women-written films. Sometimes, there's no ill will or drama - just grounded, honest vulnerability that I wish I saw more in mainstream media - especially in male characters.

  An Office-eqsue mockumentary with many entertaining inside jokes of what could go wrong, going wrong within the production of film. Beautiful cinematography, and catchy, quotable humour which was at times a bit too on-the-nose for me. Nevertheless, a great comedic insight into the filmmaking world for non-filmmakers.

  My favourite outof the Alberta Shorts at CIFF this year. Gripping and innocently tragic, camping sheds light on homelessness and the systems that fails them today in a simple, yet undoubtedly human way.
