It had a lot of interesting visuals and ideas; some strange ones too. I gotta say I was freaked out by Leone leering at her sister as evil overwhelmed her. That was creepy AF.

While watching I kept thinking "I bet David Lynch loved this movie."

    ★★★

A good movie with solid pacing. I was annoyed that somehow bisexuality wasn't a thing in this film as both are male leads are shown to be in relationships with women as well as one another. I wasn't too sure how I felt about the ending, but it was what kinda had to be as a result of his own actions and the fallout surrounding that. (I would like a sequel though.)

    The Lost Prince

    ★★

The cast is amazing and the award-winning set direction and costuming are excellent. What I found disappointing, however, was how little attention was paid to the lost prince of the title. This is not his story. The story takes place around him - his elder brother George gets as much screen time. It’s a well paced piece, but I was hoping for more information on Prince John, the youngest son of King George IV and Queen Mary.

    An Awfully Big Adventure

Unlikable characters engaging in despicable acts. For me there was one fantastic moment in the movie - Rickman's character plays Captain Hook in their theater production of Peter Pan and the children are shown to be delightedly frightened by his portrayal. Grant's character has to take over the role and he is terrifying - it wasn't just the children in the theater audience who were repelled by his performance, but the adults in the movie theater with me as well.
