No matter how beautiful the shots were, there was too many times in this film it prioritized the nice looking shot over servicing the actual story. The score was boring and didn’t really stand out as anything different than a basic horror score. The Empire Strikes Back 1980
Im a Star Wars nerd and this is by far my favorite movie. From the breathtaking visuals keeping me entranced in this universe, to the compelling story that not only has the greatest twist in movie history but is the first true cliffhanger in film history marking it far above its peers at the time. I will never get tired of this movie because of the story within a story it always will have and I also just love me a fucking lightsaber.
