Goodbye, to the one and only David Lynch. Imo the greatest director to ever live and my favorite director oat. David’s films have meant an incredible amount to me. They have changed the way I look at art and film as a medium forever. Twin Peaks was my introduction to his films and ever since I’ve been I love with this man’s work. I don’t think I’ve ever cried this much about a celebrities death in my life. This hit me in a way I wasn’t expecting. Rest easy to truly one of the most important artists in my life. 💔

Meh. Well made, and Robert Redford and Paul Newman are both very charming and charismatic, but I really struggled to get invested in this. The fact that this beat out the exorcist, cries and whispers, and American graffiti for best picture in 1974 is objectively insane.
