I was absolutely enjoying the first half of the film but after that it felt like the team behind it were unsure what kind of movie they wanted to make and that’s specifically obvious when it reaches its ending that feels both completely dull and out of nowhere at the same time

Under Paris 2024
This is unfortunately one of those films that is both boring and incredibly stupid so it’s not even in the guilty pleasure category. It does have some incredibly funny parts but most of it is just a rally dull affair.
It does have nice underwater photography and one fairly engaging set piece, but that’s pretty much all it has going for it.

I found it to be slightly better than part 1, but at the same time it makes the first so pointless and meaningless, it all really should have been just a 2 hour picture. Nevertheless, despite finding it not as dull, this film is still plagued with the same problems as its predecessor and despite how much time we spent with these characters the emotional payoff of the movies feels hollow and insubstantial

Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire 2023
A boring, clumsy movie whose unoriginality and insistence of borrowing from better sci-fi fantasy films just makes you wish you were watching one of those that its referencing. The character work and dialogue is severely lacking and the film tries to compensate it with insincere and cheese music that feels like it’s trying to force the feelings into the audience. There is your nice shot here and there and it has decent production design but I find nothing else noteworthy about it.
