    I’m Still Here is by far the biggest surprise I have gotten from cinema this year, I’m even finding it hard to put into words how good this film is but the more I think about it, the more I love it.

    Although I didn’t fully connect with the film, I found very interesting how it delves into the fear of death as well as the beauty stereotype and role of women at the time in a documentary-like approach, while accurately embodying the aesthetics of the French new wave.
