  What an intense story to tell, Scorsese is the perfect person to tell it. This evil narrative of white greed works in his style of gangster films, showcasing some of the worse in humanity yet making it digestible and connecting the dots in a story that should be told in schools but won’t be.

  Like waking up from too long of a nap wondering where you are and what’s going on but slowly coming too. This was actually a sad story; a man who decides to lie to himself for a sense of purpose. Brilliantly pieced together testing us out and letting us slowly form our opinions on the characters. It was a bit slow for me with not much depth to the characters to hold on too. Still, a great watch as the narrative structure draws you into the mind of the main character.
