Grotesque, disturbing and somehow sickly funny.
The Subtance is the best movie of this year and one of my favorites, with a sublime performance by Demi Moore being this the best performance of her entire career and without forgetting the beautiful Margaret Qualley who is not far behind delivering a great performance. The Subtance is a perfect movie with an incredible direction by Coralie Fargeat and it was also one of the best experiences in the cinema that I have had in a long time, simply phenomenal.
