  This one holds a special place in my heart.
  I remember seeing it in theaters as a kid.
  I remember loving the music.
  I remember loving how much of NYC was incorporated into Oz.
  I remember declaring this was MY preferred version of the Wizard of Oz and the one I would pass down to my kids….and I did. 💜

  An incredible character study of a person whose passion, obsession, and trauma becomes their disease.  An absolute rollercoaster ride testing the dangerous limits when consumed by excess and suppressed rage. Majors gives a career-defining performance and it’s a damn shame his real life conflicts derailed his career and path to Oscar gold.

  A stylized vision with a Tarantino-esque narrative structure bound by two killer performances.
