Amazing film! Amazing scenery and pictures. Really captures the depths and highs of being human. Saoirse Ronan is an incredible actress. Cried 3 times during the film. Conveys the emotions of the character perfectly with the images storytelling and the soundscapes. Easily one of the best films I’ve seen.

Der Film zeigt wie man das Besondere im Alltäglichen finden kann. Wie Achtsamkeit und Routine Zufriedenheit herstellen. Der Film ist langsam und ruhig und ist wahrscheinlich für unsere Gehirne die dauerhafte Beschallung und Ablenkung brauchen eine Herausforderung. Genau das zeigt er für mich aber auch, dass wir weg von der Ablenkung hin zum echten Leben zurückfinden müssen.

The images were beautiful. It didn’t really feel like the movie was telling a story tho. It showed well how Elvis groomed her to be the perfect wife and her pain but I would’ve liked to get to know her more. She hardly talks in the movie and they fly through time too quickly. I had quite high expectations going in and I just felt quite confused when the movie ended.
