Manchester by the Sea 2016
A nice “glimpse of life” movie but it didn’t engage me as well as other films in this genre does. From my experience, I couldn’t imagine the grief depicted by the characters to be as light as it was considering the tragedies that they went through, but this opens my eyes more towards how everyone deals with loss differently. Fantastic performances by the actors.

The Substance 2024
This movie was a masterpiece.
The score was incredible with the techno vibes, there was solid acting and great cinematography with lots of close ups (I don’t think I can ever eat prawns again).
The ending was also good, wack, but funny and meaningful. I kinda felt bad for MonstroElisaSue.
