Man, how to review this. I'd be curious to hear how other actors and film critics would view Sally Field's performance. I think most of us laypeople would say she was incredible, she threw everything into it, masterclass. But was maybe just a tad over the top? Possibly. But I was still there for the experience and it crushed me.

Talk about under the radar, I don't even remember this being marketed during its release and I love these kinds of movies.
I understand most peoples' criticism of the "flatness" of the script and underdeveloped characters, and that the only real strength is the sumptuous cinematography and general atmosphere.
