I'm Still Here 2024
The film is excellent and very well-directed. Walter Salles successfully brings a personal and profound perspective—not only to what the characters themselves believed, but also to make us feel the fear of a time in our country’s history that is sometimes forgotten.
On a side note, I was unfortunately in a screening with the young actor who plays Marcelo. Mr. Guilherme’s behavior was disrespectful and dismissive, and while he may be young, that doesn’t excuse his lack of respect for both his own work and the serious story the film presents.
