  i love a good feminist story and teen drama/romance so this movie was automatically interesting. the characters were well written, from their dialogue to small body movements and inflection. the story was beautiful and empowering as well as funny and romantic. every character was individualistic while still being side characters in vivian’s story. the acting was phenomenal and the little details, such as lighting and framing, were well done. there were some details that felt out of place and even unnecessary but it wasn’t enough to detract from the path the story went on.
