I don't understand the hype. Please help me understand the hype. A couple of lines of introspection per joint and venting to strangers who barely connected with you, do not a deep introspection make, IMO. Especially when you're playing "yourselves", or rather another version of the characters you most often play. Using such important locations feels exploitative at this point.

It's probably the best Alien sequel since Resurrection - which tbh is a pretty low bar to clear. Also, for a movie with as many Xenos at it had, it ironically needed much more Xeno screen time. Especially since the real nemesis of the movie seems to be... doors.

How good was this? The best Pixar movie in years comes from Dreamworks. Heartwarming, heart breaking, absolutely beautiful emotional nuke. You'll want to call your mother/mother figure the second you get out of the theatre.
