    "I wasn't a big fan of the whole Mark Ruffalo is Donald Trump bit." — me.
    "That's what I thought he was based on." — my mom.
    "Oh really? I didn't get those vibes at all. I thought he and his wife were based on The Hunger Games. Like the people from the Capital in Panem." — my dad.

    This is a bit of a jumbled mess, but it was fun. It's well acted, and the music was really good. 6/10.

    Things the intelligent apes figured out: the domestication of birds of prey, the domestication of horses, harnessing electricity, the existence of the Roman Empire, and the preservation of meat.

    Things the intelligent apes haven't figured out: swimming. Really? I know there are flash floods that no one can swim in, but you haven't figured out how to stay afloat in a stable body of water? That's ridiculous.
