Sort of like ground hog day, if it was in space, involved aliens and wasn’t really like ground hog day.
I have never read the book so went into this completely unknowingly and it exceeded my expectations after reading critic reviews prior.
It’s enjoyable, easy going and isn’t boring in any part.
Clever film and can see myself watching it again.
Watched in cinema, really solid and small cast.
I can imagine it being a very anxiety inducing experience if you’re scared of the deep dark sea!
Very emotive and keeps you hooked from start to finish and it’s amazing to think it’s a true story, it seems impossible!!
Only redeemable factor of this film is Megan Fox being a horny robot..
I was really expecting much from this film so didn’t really have my hopes up, the plot is a bit shit and sort of follows every other ‘AI taking over the world’ theme, although Megan Fox (the main robot) is a home wrecker horny robot!
2/5 is being nice and probably would not watch this again.
As bad as it sounds, going into this film I understood it was a low budget B-movie intended for some cheap thrills.
There are maybe two parts of the film that were remotely funny and the awful acting, poor CGI and screenwriting make it a complete waste of time and really makes me wonder why I have just wasted 100 minutes of my life watching this when I could have had more fun doing cocaine in my living room with no music or TV.
Do not watch.
