YO! This jawn was DOPE. Who knew a kendo drama would be what I needed? This oldie oozes a certain vibe that I could not get enough of. Much more relatable in scope. This is because Misumi ditches the Edo-era in favor of a much more modern form of storytelling, all the while retaining his trademark styles of honor and chivalry. Also just a great look at how rigorous training for a sport can be, reminded me when I used to train with the football team. I liked this one much better than Kiru. (If that’s not obvious enough)
