  Disclaimer: I fucking love this movie. I've just watched it for the fourth time, this time the English dub (the first time being a shitty fan sub, and the second and third being the official sub).

  To me, this movie is about self hatred. It's about recognising your past actions and how while they may initially define how people think and view you, they don't have to define you permanently, if youre willing to change.

  While it was beautifully shot and we'll directed in the way that made it feel like we were simply peering into real moments in these characters lives, my main problem with the film was that it bored me. While the performances were great, I didn't really like any of the characters - especially Anthony, who I found absolutely no redeeming qualities in.

  This film feels pretentious for the sake of it at times, and I honestly just didn't buy into…
