The Red Turtle 2016
The movie is a beautiful allegory of human existence. Yet, what I found astonishing was the linguistic aspect. Perhaps we don't need words to communicate at all as the movie depicts a beautiful connection between these individuals. The first half of the movie, in my opinion, expressed how we are so much dependent on Nature, not the other way around. We are living within her limits and as long as she allows us, we are surviving. I loved the raw emotions, the life cycle, the animation... A celebration of life with its somber knots.
