  even though the characters glaze 90s hip hop, the movie really feels like an homage to 90s hood cinema. boyz n the hood, the wood, menace 2, and even do the right thing

  i am deducting a point because too many “n****s” were uttered by non blacks

  if i had a nickel for everytime brandon perea was supporting cast for a movie about sky threats i’d have two whole nickels

  would’ve given it another star but the movie forgot to redirect me somewhere i can donate to those poor oklahomans… i can’t imagine dealing with a super kaiju every week
