With a remarkably simple premise and its melodramatic manners, Wages of Fear succeeds in infesting you with a feeling of dread, both with and without the nitroglycerin.

8½ 1963
8 1/2 is a magical farce that is immensely more enjoyable if you let reality and fantasy cross together, allowing the film to breathe, not analysing every single image.
Although certain passages are slow and useless, and sometimes the music seems to help guide the film rather than compliment it, the film has a beautiful charm. It's a wonderful deconstruction of the mind,in the land of memory and dreams.Translated from by -
Oldboy 2003
Park Chan-Wook shows with this singular effort that he is one of the greats of our time. Oldboy moves in the land of memory,of trauma, and of horror. The influence of ancient theatre in the picture is combined with perfect control of the camera. The transitions between memories are of great touch. The story itself dives to the deepest pits of the human soul and there we find sheer terror. Oldboy is one of the most vulgar examinations of the mind and shows us complete madness, with a touch of beauty
