  I don’t care what anyone says this kinda ruled. I had such a blast with it. Was it a masterpiece? No. But was it a really fun time at the movies with a likable lead? Absolutely. The CEO of sex is also a key character and he’s one of my favorite humans to grace this god given earth so I think that immediately bumps this up. It’s a fun movie not meant to be taken seriously. Villain is generic but we do share a very uncommon name so it was kinda surreal to constantly hear my name during the movie. 10/10 didn’t feel any pain

Waited 8 years closely watching production on this movie go so very slow from its announcement in 2015, to having finally received the movie in 2023. Still doesn’t feel surreal.   Don’t listen to IMDb, this movie is really good. The animation is stunning, buzz goes through an amazing character arc, dealing with grief, regret, and guilt, while trying to prove himself but also realizing he can’t do everything alone. All of the characters are extremely likable, especially buzz’s robot cat, Sox. The movie is just so fun, and when it ended my entire theater clapped because it was just amazing. Definetly going to see it again.
