First time watching I had no idea what was going on, and even the second time I was still confused a little bit I think that just goes to show how well the movie makes you have to think and put the pieces together and almost forces you to pay attention to off-screen details. The sleight of hand that Ethan Hunt does is the crux of this movie, exemplifying the fact that the movie is a big magic trick that lets you know you’re being tricked and you’re left trying to figure out how they tricked you at all.
Loved how it’s a prequel within a sequel, felt like the general story of the Lion Kings moves forward. Sets up a good sequel with the now-newly-introduced children of Simba and Nala.

Great movie with great storytelling, and even better plot twist. Not sure how obvious it was for others but even on my second watch, years later, and trying to remember what the twist was, I was still surprised again
Favorite scene is definitely the silent interaction Big Nick and Merrimen have
