  The Last Duel 2021

  Genuinely one of the best films of its kind. For the first hour or so I thought I was watching yet another predictable medieval story about rivalry and politics, written by white men, but the third act blew me away and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. I hope this movie gets the attention it deserves.

  Decided to add this to my "historical propaganda research" watchlist, and it did not disappoint. Confederacy revisionism for days. Now thankfully I never have to watch it again 😌 I don't feel like I can critique or rate it -as a film- though.
