Last night I got to see Challengers and what a fun ride. Every element of this film was firing on all cylinders. The story, the music, the cinematography and of course the performances.

The preview shows enough about the story to get the idea of where it’s heading but the actual movie plot and its pacing was better than I had hoped. I loved every second, as a former tennis player making his way up the ranks the pain and…

Okay what’s not to like about a classic Guy Ritchie film? They’re perfectly over the top and this couldn’t be more true for his latest film. TMoUW brings all the best elements of Guys movie making into one place.

The action first and for most was fantastic, the variety of visuals styles especially for the world we find Eiza González and Babs Olusanmokun characters existing in is beautiful. The sets feel grand and remind me of old cinema. Some of the…

Just got out of an early IMAX viewing of Dune: Part 2

This is  why we go to the movies. This movie is massive in its scope, ambition and performances. Denis understands the assignment here and you’ll absolutely love what you see. The opening of this I truthfully was not expecting at all and it immediately grounded the situation in a way more powerful than I realized. I won’t spoil it.

Austin Butler, and Rebecca Furguson are standouts for me…

Godzilla × Kong: The New Empire

    ★★★½

    My god my eyes!

There is nothing deep to say here. It is giant things absolutely fucking up other giant things all while I think destroying cities and killing millions on the process hahaha.

It’s fun, loud, and gives me good ole fashion 90s over the top movie vibes all while delivering a pretty fun 80s score. I told you it was a lot.

This is a movie theater movie, simple.

I love the monster-verse and I keep hoping they make more of them. I am however ready for Kong and Godzilla to go their separate ways.
