I liked the characters played by Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, but the overall storyline felt flat. I was expecting more witty lines from the main characters, but the writing was not that fresh. Also the elements used to create comedic scenes were not very effective for me. I could see the intention of the creators, but to me the whole movie felt like an old joke played by new characters.
