Maybe I had set unrealistic expectations for a film made in the year 2000 around pschopaths/sociopaths but the movie was just gruesome (which I personally don't mind) but I also expect it to have some more substance. In the sense that, why was the psychopath a psychopath, what was the motive behind the crimes, why were his victims his victims, what were the repercussions, what triggered him etc etc. I couldn't find that in the film.

I don't think I've liked a film as much as I liked Barbie in the past year. If I have to put it in one sentence, it is the film that I'll show my kids over and over again. It's a literal handbook for anyone who's ever said "I don't understand women".
