Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
saw this at Alamo Drafthouse and watched the theatrical cut this time- i definitely prefer the version with the missing stuff added in, but this is truly one of the most captivating, upsetting, and unsettling experiences i have ever had. I cannot wait to watch The Return and finally finish out this series.

the first time i watched this, my grandma was suffering from dementia and had been for some time. in the time between then and now, she has since passed (on the night of my college graduation and during the ceremony, no less), and i think that fact only made this hit harder on the rewatch. i'm also not in public this time around so i'm not trying to hold back my tears.
