  Many themes came up throughout the film love, pain, greed, abuse, finding yourself. In the world we live in today companion is very relevant and not as sci-fi as it would’ve seemed even 10 years ago. The reality that a person can order a life in the mail is upon us, a day and age where human life has created its own.

  I don’t believe Iris and her kind are just a fuckbot like she is referred to, these “companions”…

  To me this film represents a time where society and conformity were one. Bob Dylan represents the transition from the 60’s where music had to be one thing, if you are a rock n’ roll artist you best make rock n’ roll music, if you are a folk singer you best strum your guitar and never dare blend the two genres because people “won’t like it”.
