  I knew it wouldn’t be as good as Parasite, but this honestly disappointed me. Mickey #17 barely had any agency as a character, as the plot and side characters forwarded themselves. 

  I’m okay with superficial satire if it’s all least creative, but this was a bore. Barely any laughs that hit, at least at my theater. Utter waste of a concept.

  My bus on my way to the theatre got stuck in traffic so I had to walk for 40 minutes and I got there ON TIME.

  Anyway, pretty impactful movie. Gives insight into black trans sex workers with humor and vulnerability. The black and white cinematography and rhythmic editing with the music were punchy and memorable.

  A must see for its social, economic, and personal impact. An an extremely emotional and unapologetic film on a community who are not recognized enough by mainstream cinema.
