Despite resenting many of these songs for years I actually really enjoyed this documentary. I gained interest in watching it because I’ve noticed the longevity of many of these songs and have been wondering why they are still so popular. This stems from years ago working at a boomer-owned ski shop that only allowed a radio station that played these songs on repeat. I now work at a ski shop where the ski techs are mostly my age or younger…

Blade Runner 2049 2017
The film that cemented my love of cinema. I first saw this in theaters while on college on a lonely rainy Sunday. While the film isn’t exactly uplifting, I walked out of the film feeling more content with myself and where I was in my life.
Currently I’ve been sick for nearly a month and revisiting the film five years later on a lonely rainy day, once again this film and the themes it explores helped me to feel more content with myself and a reminder of my love of cinema.
