  This plays like a summary of much larger ideas. I was kind of expecting this to be a mini series. It really doesn’t say anything new that hasn’t already been explored in regards to this infamous case.

  This film represents the duality of men and women. Love, lust, exploitation and violence. The shots of the car driving down the highway with each headlight on either side of the yellow lines shows this duality. It is further explored with Patricia Arquette’s double personalities, reminding me of Kim Novak in Vertigo. Seductive and dangerous. Then there’s Bill Pullman and Balthazar Getty. Each man is being pulled in different directions towards Arquette, one with disdain towards his wife ending in…

  Combat Shock 1986

  I thought this was pretty intense and disturbing. I enjoyed the overall story but felt that most of the acting was pretty terrible. Still, I loved the early gore foreshadowing what’s gonna go down with the main character. And the Eraserhead like baby was disgusting in a good way. This one isn’t for the faint of heart.

  This had no business being this good. Big budget horror done right. Definitely one of the best horror movies I’ve seen all year. I heard many good things and it did not disappoint.
