  This looks expensive but not good. A vacuous overblown monologue about how much Rich People are always speaking at length with nothing to say.

  Another movie with chapters because that means it has a statement, I guess. It'll fit on the shelf with the other mediocre movies about the stirring lives of rich people.

  The most compelling part is an unnamed bartender's journey to shave his beard (he does) and impress his friend (he doesn't). He's absent from the rest of this tedious, predictable movie about Warren Beatty being a bad businessman. Julie Christie makes an appearance in the layered role of a madame who is 1) British, 2) in love with A Man, and 3) a big fan of opium.
