  The first shots of Paul Banks and James Murphy made my heart glow. Even though I’m not that into the strokes or yeah yeah yeahs I thought their stuff was really cool especially the Karen O parts. I think it jumped around a bit too quickly at times and the ending felt a bit abrupt but overall super cool for a guy like me.

  When my friend Jacob worked in a movie theater we would go see a movie like once a day in the summer of 2016 and I remember seeing this trailer and thought it looked really good. I finally watched it this evening and it was really beautiful. I wish I had gone to see this in theaters. It almost feels unfair to write a review for such a soft spoken movie from a home viewing, so this is mostly just a documentation of the full timeline of my little experience.
