There was a guy who sat next to me in the theater and kept repeating, “What the fuck,” for over half the movie in almost every scene. And that about sums this film up perfectly for me. By the time this got serious, and not that Marvel does that anymore, it was too late to be pulled in that direction to want to feel the hardship, pain, and love in those moments it asked for it. Taika Waititi is still the guy and I have faith on the next one!

Wow! No need to eject from your seat with this one. Even if I was on the edge. Such a great and wildly engaging, fun, and all around entertaining film. Surprised me and can see now the lasting footprint something like this can leave on someone as it did when the OG was released some 30 years ago.

The world building is something to behold with these films. CGI done right. So vibrant, beautiful, and a spectacle to admire. As much as this is appreciated, how will this continue 2-3 films from now? Dragging out this ongoing feud as your main story arc is going to get old should it continue. For now, FAMILY!

There is a fury alright, but it ain't the gods. It's me! What a let down. None of the flare was brought forward into this sequel. Most of this film just felt so awkward and cringe. Not even skittles and unicorns save the day here.

Never ever ever pick a Netflix movie remake of a 90s throwback while drunk. Even if it is plastered all over your home page and it taunts you. Just don’t do it. Don’t! I mean the best moment was when Tanner Buchanan started doing some karate shit and I thought I was watching Cobra Kai. Honestly the only person that can be happy after watching this is Joey King. She should be ecstatic. In fact, I might just go rewatch Kissing Booth 3 now and reevaluate my 1 star decision.

I will say this, I was entertained. I know this is built around the action, but I enjoyed it more when there was less of it. Less dizzy as well haha. Knowing that, I guess there lies the problem with these movies. This will no doubt be the start of a franchise and at least I will have the chance to see more Samara Weaving and that I am ok with.
