Honestly for a Netflix doc surprisingly not shit at all.
Has a similar blend of sub-culture exploration, earnest human warmth, and existential absurdity as King of Kong. Exactly the recipe I’m after 9 times out of 10 when reaching for a doc.
Did the nice „you think it’s about this but that ends up being a vehicle for this“ formula that so many human-subject and culture docs end up falling into. The Enya bit was perfect.
