Some dude sitting in front of us fell asleep, got up to get a second  full size  pringles  can, downed it, and got the best sleep of his life. Snoring and all.  Another dude stood up for at least the last 20 min of the film and kept making his way closer to the screen as Adam Driver spoke. He’s a believer.

Just as great on a second watch. Although I love Transformers, the bar has been getting lower with every new release. This was a breath of fresh air and if all goes well will be the turning point the films needed. The first trailer does not do it justice; there is stunning action sequences and incredible voice work from the whole cast. Brian Tyree Henry’s performance of D-16 was a highlight. His voice as the film went on blew me away. Perfect film for newcomers and long time fans. Best animated movie of the year and best Transformers movie so far.

This one is a bit to impact.

    The good:

Great actors and an interesting premise.
Justice Smith has a commentary closer to the film's end that struck something in me. I live the black experience daily, but sometimes, I just don’t have the words to verbalize it. Although the commentary doesn’t describe me perfectly, some bits resonate within my own life. I’m glad these types of satirical films are being made, even though they are far from perfect.

Getting to go screen this 2 months early at Paramount Studios was the coolest movie experience. It also helped that this is the best Transformers movie to date. Can’t wait to go see this again next week for official release.
