  Man, we as a culture really showed up for ADR punched up off camera dialogue in the Obama era didn’t we? We loved shouty improv, two plus hour runtimes (even longer if you sprung for the UNRATED TOO EXTREME FOR THEATERS version on DVD), bad genre crossovers (the Pineapple Express trailer will eventually answer for its crimes) with god awful needle drops (BLACK EYED PEAS JESUS GOD IN HEAVEN HELP US) and an over reliance on ‘hey it’s that guy’…
