  Genuinely no idea if I even finished the movie or if I watched none of it and dreamed it. A good joke and funny quip every now and then tries its best to bear the weight of an otherwise boring watch.

  Too many nothingburger characters, dialogue was awful in the first half, the Trump comparison was laid on way too thick, music was kinda mid, and the exposition drags really hard. 
  The second half picks up quickly and I was locked in pretty fast once it did. Robert Pattinson was awesome, CGI was sick, and most characters were believable. (Toni Collette was in this really weird position of having a not great character but still putting on a great performance, so shoutout to her)

  The whole thing wasn’t terrible but Jesus Christ this had problems, definitely only watch this in theaters otherwise you’ll get bored and turn it off after 20 minutes (also had to edit the review down a half star because I enjoyed despicable me in German more than this)

  Pros:
  -Cassandra’s acting was great (but the character was eh)
  -Fight choreography looked cool sometimes
  -I think Channing Tatum was going for half Quebecois half patois and it made me chuckle

  I get I’m just supposed to have fun with this kind of movie, and for the first hour I was having a blast. But then the movie just kinda ends. They set up cool villains and introduced the mega minions just to have all storylines finish in 5 minutes. Probably would have been a really good movie if it was like 30 minutes longer
