Genuine human kindness gets me everytime. Obviously, ET and Elliot are the same, being alienated for being weird (whatever).
For the beginning, I was hooked because what do you mean I don’t get to see the faces of strangers who are trying to capture poor ET? Childlike and scary. I thought it was interesting that not even the teacher’s face was revealed. The only adult that mattered was his mother. LOVE.
