Love this movie.  It’s one of the rare movies that has so much energy and such lovable characters that it doesn’t really need a conflict.
60s nostalgia, catchy music, and beautiful people drive this movie forwards a a perfect pace.
Though in its simplicity it lacks diversity, has one dimensional female characters, and doesn’t really have much to say overall it’s charisma makes it a joy to watch.

This was a tough one for me, certainly not a light watch.  But a very thoughtful and intentional film and a pretty well done movie.

It poses a lot of introspective questions, and doesn’t answer them all concretely, rather lets the viewer stew around in the unpleasantness to figure them out.

The filmmaker creates a harsh surreal world; seemingly stuck in a timeless past while being simultaneously being constantly grounded in the present.
The characters can be terrible at times , but are honest and straightforward in a refreshing and lovable way.
The story is simple and heartfelt, and despite its roughness it gives you a warm feeling and shows you the simple beauties in humanity.
