Johnson's use of the Rashomon story structure in order to tell the tale of Luke and Ben's past together, allows the audience to understand that there was misunderstanding and cloudiness surrounding this moment, changing the course of their lives, irreparably.
To call this film visually stunning is an understatement, and the cinematography should be remembered long after Star Wars concludes its current life in the mainstream.…
