  If I could influence anything, I would influence you to watch ‘Le Jour Se Lève’ on the Criterion Channel. I just did and can definitively say it’s one of the best films ever made. Jean Gabin is one of the best actors. And the final shot of this film is one of the best frames I’ve ever seen.
