  Pretty hard not to say that this is straight up the best Batman movie. The only one that's really interested in putting a clear stamp on Bruce's trauma and making it the center of the whole thing.   Little better than the other two films, mostly by way of it being a prolonged ending, which inherently solves a lot of their issues - at least partly.

  The weird character development jumps? Most of that's already happened, and the characters are here fully-formed, no more development needed. Though it still happens from time to time, especially in relation to, well, pretty much every romantic pairing.

  The janky pacing? Not a problem - while there are two fairly discrete "sequences"…
