I heard a lot of negative hype about this movie. I I didn't mind it at all. I thought it was fresh and new and entertaining.
Is Steven Spielberg released Raiders of the Lost Ark today that movie would get the same treatment this one seems to be getting.

This was an enjoyable movie but I'm not really sure it deserved the boatloads of Oscars it won. Maybe one or two. It seems like these low budget movies directed or lensed by filmmakers with vision and limited budgets are where actual entertainment is at these days. Was also impressed that this film was shot on film, or I read.
