Mickey 17 took me on a ride—dark comedy, sharp satire, and wild sci-fi all wrapped up in Bong Joon-ho’s meticulous vision. Robert Pattinson is fantastic, bringing both heart and hilarious physical comedy to his dual role. The whole concept of being “expendable” really hit me, especially in those opening moments. The middle lost me a bit, but the ending pulled it all together. Definitely a bold, weird, and thought-provoking watch!

Smile 2 delivers a chilling sequel with Naomi Scott shining as Skye, a pop star haunted by her past. The entity exploits her deepest fears, leading to a haunting and shocking finale that lingers long after.

    A Complete Unknown

    ★★★★

Timothée Chalamet is electric as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. His singing, his presence—he nails it. The film dives into Dylan’s early 60s rise, his relationships with Sylvie (Elle Fanning) and Joan Baez (Monica Barbaro), and his controversial shift to electric music. That Newport Folk Festival scene? Intense. It’s a film that had me Googling Dylan’s history as soon as it ended. Whether you’re a Dylan fan or just love a solid biopic, this one hits all the right notes.
