Love the concept of a movie based on a song and like they did a great job adapting it. Idk what y’all are on about regarding the end. Truly, I get it. He was seeking connection and someone to see/hear him wherever he could get it. But this man could have had a friends to lovers romance with Amy Adams, where they both could have been released from their unfulfilling/nonexistent relationships, but instead this man had phone sex for an hour and codependency for two, when what he really needed was a therapist that wasn’t also his computer girlfriend.

This would have been a much better movie if Robin Wright and Naomi Watts would have just hooked up, but instead they chose MINORS. Jail. Their tension alone carried this film, but instead I had to watch at least 3 sus relationships develop as a result of men’s nonsense. I did this for you Xavier
