Lost in Translation 2003
I think about how genuinely garbage this movie is like once a week. Racist, american-centric romance where two white people prance around Tokyo and exoticize its culture and people with a gross male lead that you’re somehow supposed to feel sympathy for(?), and a disgusting age gap. A film with zero redeeming plot elements and I’d rate it one star but it’s visually nice I guess.
